What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Junior Strategy Manager and Executive Assistant to the Board.This role supports the Strategy team as well as the Management Board in its responsibilities and day to day activities.

Your accountabilities

  • Assist and provide support to the GmbH Management Board in their day-to-day activities including the management of shareholders, stakeholders and supervisory board, overseeing the Change/Value Stream investment and material project delivery, and communication to organisation and stakeholders
  • Support the German Management Board and the Head of Strategy in their tasks relating to the business strategy setting, its implementation, control and review
  • Be involved where needed in projects that build and shape the business
  • Support the Company Secretariat and organize meetings, draft, prepare or review executive presentations, briefings, agendas and documentation
  • Assist in regular reporting and governance to stakeholders
  • Support the planning and business decision making process
  • Create, prepare, analyse, review reports and papers for management board
  • Support the Managing Directors in organizing and coordinating visits from senior stakeholders
  • Undertake research on a wide range of matters, recommending solutions and actions
  • Part of the Strategy department with the responsibility to assist the strategy team where needed
  • Work with all departments and build a collaborative working relationship

Who are you and what do we ask from you?

Qualifications

You are in possession of a Bachelor degree in Business, Business Engineering, Finance or Banking.

Experience & Knowledge

You have a minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience. On top of that you have also gained knowledge of relevant software to obtain and create convincing proposals, agreements, memos, papers and presentations.

Skills & Capabilties

  • You have strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • You are able to summarize and organize information into key messages adapted to the targeted audience
  • You are aware of the external business and industry environment
  • You can demonstrate a high level of integrity and fairness
  • You can demonstrate an entrepreneurial, creative, innovative and facilitating approach to problem solving whilst maintaining risk awareness
  • You can use a collaborative approach with colleagues and stakeholders, anticipating reactions and concerns
  • You are fluent in English and German, written and spoken
