Your role
If you are passionate about engaging in complex data analysis projects that require innovative problem-solving skills, and you have affinity for the financial sector, we invite you to join our team and help shape the future of banking.
The corporate lending business line is a recent and growing addition to the portfolio of the Bank. As a Data Analyst you will support the development and maintenance of a variety of solutions across different platforms to facilitate the assessment and monitoring of financial risks related to corporate lending activities. These solutions aim to automate processes and scale the activities throughout the different phases of the customer lifecycle.
A day in the life of a Data Analyst
After a morning coffee, you start your day with a quick review of emails and messages to catch up on any updates or urgent requests. You participate in a team meeting to discuss ongoing projects, and emerging risks, and changes, where you share insights on new developments to support them. You then focus on creating and maintaining internal solutions for credit assessments and portfolio analysis. This involves coding, testing, and refining automated processes to ensure data consistency, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, reflecting the latest changes.
After lunch break, you engage in meetings with colleagues from various departments such as BI, Finance, Treasury, and Product Management to discuss how to align solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements. You then work on adapting existing solutions to accommodate any changes in internal policies or regulatory requirements.
Just as the day is about to end, you prepare the update of existing reporting dashboards that provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights for decision-making. However, you notice areas of improvement in the tooling and prepare a proposal to discuss with the team the next day.
