Your role
As a 1st Line Risk Integrator, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Lloyds Bank Netherlands’ risk management framework. Working within the Business Support Unit (BSU), you’ll collaborate across departments to identify, assess, and mitigate risks—primarily within our Dutch mortgage business. Within the first line you’ll be the first point of contact for second line specialists, ensuring smooth communication and alignment while embedding risk awareness into daily operations.
This is a dynamic role where you’ll operate across multiple risk domains—Credit Risk, Legal & Compliance and Non-Financial Risk—making connections between change initiatives and risk implications. You’ll help design controls, support audits, train colleagues, and continuously improve processes to keep the bank safe while enabling innovation.
Apply now and help us build a safer, smarter future for Lloyds Bank Netherlands!
A day in the life of a 1st Line Risk Integrator
Every morning starts with a quick scan of emails—what’s new, what needs attention? By 09:00, I’m in the Homes Lab stand-up, spotting risks in upcoming mortgage changes and shaping mitigation plans. After that, meet with BSU colleagues to discuss upcoming topics and priorities and were we can work together.
Midday, I’m the go-to person for colleagues—answering questions, running risk awareness sessions, and making sure everyone’s aligned. Documentation matters too, so I keep our Risk and Control Self-Assessment up to date and ready for audits.
Afternoons are about collaboration and improvement: meeting senior stakeholders to advise on risk for new initiatives, standardising processes, and finding smarter ways to manage risk.
No two days are the same, but the mission is clear—protect the bank while enabling innovation. If you thrive on problem-solving, influencing change, and working across teams, this role puts you at the heart of risk management and transformation.
Which team will you be joining?
You’ll be joining the Business Support Unit (BSU), this team consists of a group of enthusiastic and skilled professionals who provide operational support across Lloyds Bank and contribute to fostering a robust risk management framework and culture.
