Platform Support Officer

Your role

The NL Platform Support Office (NL PSO) plays a central role in supporting change delivery across NL Labs and (Feature) Teams. As Platform Support Officer, you will help maintain and evolve a central base for upskilling, knowledge sharing, and process guidance. You’ll provide standards, trainings, tools, and best practices that help teams navigate and apply company-specific processes and frameworks effectively.
The PSO is the main supporting office for change delivery and acts as a central helpdesk for delivery teams seeking guidance on how to comply with and follow the organization’s tailored Agile delivery framework. While Agile coaching is a minor but impactful part of the role, your primary focus will be on enabling structured, compliant, and consistent delivery across teams.

You will also support the Business Development Cycle, perform regular intakes and checkpoints, and maintain shared calendars and tools that facilitate planning, collaboration, and transparency.
The Platform Support Officer reports to the Manager Change & Project Portfolio NL.

A day in the life of a Platform Support Officer

As a Platform Support Officer at Lloyds Bank Nederland, you’re the backbone of change delivery. Your mornings start by updating shared calendars and knowledge hubs in JIRA and Confluence. Throughout the day, you guide teams on Agile processes, answer questions, and ensure everyone follows company standards.

You monitor project progress, help resolve issues, and keep compliance on track. By the end of the day, you’ve empowered teams, improved processes, and made sure delivery runs smoothly—driving clarity and consistency across the organization.

Your accountabilities

You will support several NL (Feature) Teams / Labs with the following activities:

Support & Standardise Company-Specific Processes Across Teams & Labs

  • Maintain a central base for upskilling and knowledge sharing across Labs.
  • Define and ensure consistent use of standards, trainings, and tools (primarily JIRA and Confluence).
  • Provide guidance on applying the organization’s Agile delivery framework and related governance processes.
  • Maintain and update annual Lab calendars and shared tools (e.g., knowledge hubs, delivery roadmaps).
  • Ensure alignment with the overall GmbH Change Process and internal compliance requirements.

Governance and Reporting

  • Guide and support Labs in delivering initiatives in a compliant and structured manner.
  • Contribute to the collation of relevant management information, ensuring quality and consistency across (Feature) Teams and Labs, and support inclusion in relevant meetings or committees.
  • Support the ongoing execution of the Business Development system (e.g., prepare agendas, maintain yearly views, organize/facilitate Roadmap Days, etc.).

Monitoring, Budget and Control

  • Use established project and Agile methodologies to monitor and control risks, dependencies, issues, and budgets across NL (Feature) Teams and Labs.
  • Ensure the right level of quality is achieved and escalate appropriately to overcome delays, difficulties, or cost overruns.
  • Support teams in tracking delivery progress and aligning with strategic priorities.

Who are you and what do we ask from you?

You are someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys enabling others to succeed. You work autonomously within a team setting and are confident guiding delivery teams through company-specific processes and frameworks. You have a strong process mindset, are proactive, and know how to instruct and coach without taking over execution.

You are also comfortable driving alignment and outcomes — even when that requires assertiveness. While you avoid unnecessary confrontation, you’re not afraid to challenge or clarify when needed to ensure teams stay on track and aligned with standards.

We’re looking for someone who brings clarity, consistency, and energy to the way we work. You don’t need to be a full-time Agile coach, but you should be comfortable in an Agile environment and willing to adapt to our internal framework based on SAFe principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management).
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Financial or Banking sector (proven experience is highly appreciated).
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to guide teams through structured frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments; experience with SAFe or similar frameworks is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills — able to support and coach teams without taking over delivery.
  • Comfortable driving alignment and outcomes in a constructive and professional manner.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Project Management and/or Agile certifications (e.g., PMI, SAFe, Scrum Master) are a plus but not mandatory.

Some highlights of our benefits for you!

  • 13th month salary, either paid monthly or once a year in December
  • 30 days PTO (or 240 hours) per year (based on fulltime employment)
  • Non-contributory pension scheme
  • Flexible working; you can schedule your work hours to meet your personal needs
