Your role
We’re seeking a motivated Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk Analytics team at Lloyds Bank GmbH. You’ll monitor and analyse retail credit risk, deliver stress testing and forecasting, and provide insights that shape business planning and credit strategies. Collaboration with colleagues in The Netherlands and Germany is key, as is a strong understanding of regulatory expectations.
A day in the life of a Senior Credit Risk Analyst
- Start by reviewing portfolio dashboards and spotting early warning indicators.
- Join the team stand-up and share observations before working on quarterly stress test assumptions.
- Dive into loan performance data for model monitoring and note trends impacting secured lending.
- Meet with business and data teams to enhance EWI frameworks and automation.
- Prepare a concise report for senior management summarising stress test outcomes.
- Wrap up by planning tasks like model validation and credit strategy optimisation.

Your accountabilities

Stress Testing & Planning: Design scenarios, support ICAAP, inform decisions.

Portfolio Monitoring: Track performance, maintain EWI frameworks, prepare reports.

Model Support: Assist development and implementation of credit risk models.

Regulatory change: support on the implementation of regulatory changes.

Data & Strategy: Analyse trends, optimise credit strategies, support automation.
You recognize yourself in this profile
Skills and Capabilities
-
5+ years’ experience in financial risk, including EU banking (ECB preferred).

Knowledge of retail lending lifecycle and regulatory frameworks (MaRisk, EBA).

Skilled in SQL/Databricks, Python, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
