We’re looking for a Senior Data Manager to join our Corporate Lending Programme during an exciting growth phase. You’ll be the central data contact, owning the data workstream end to end. The role combines hands-on data analysis and reporting with growing responsibility for data governance, documentation of Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and data quality oversight. You will be  building a robust data management framework that supports risk quantification, reporting, and compliance with regulations like IFRS 9 and BCBS 239.

A day in the life of a Senior Data Manager Corporate Lending

You start by aligning priorities in a team stand-up, then review and analyse key data sets to ensure business requirements are met. Midday, you translate business requirements into data models and reporting solutions. Later, you work on data flows for credit and financial risk models, ensuring compliance with IFRS 9. Later, you tackle data quality gaps and update governance frameworks. You finish by briefing stakeholders on progress and planning next steps.

No two days are the same—but every day you’re building the foundation for a high-impact corporate lending portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the main data contact for the Corporate Lending Programme.

  • Own the data workstream and coordinate data readiness for go-live.

  • Provide analytical support for data validation.

  • Design and implement data ingestion and governance frameworks.

  • Support risk and regulatory reporting for credit, market, and financial risks.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (IFRS 9, BCBS 239).

  • Drive data remediation and quality assurance initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Risk, Finance, IT, and Lending teams to align data needs.

  • Promote data literacy and continuous improvement across teams.

You recognize yourself in this profile

Experience & Capabilities

  • 5+ years’ experience in data management within financial services.

  • Strong knowledge of credit risk models, regulatory frameworks, and corporate lending.

  • Technical skills: SQL, Python, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch or German is a plus. 

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or similar.
