Senior Business Analyst Savings

  • 32 to 40 hrs
  • Hybrid working
  • Amsterdam

Your role

We may be part of a large banking group, but we are a small, close-knit bank with a clear focus and strong growth ambition. For our Feature Team Savings NL, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record in delivering complex change within a banking environment.

In this role, you take full ownership of business analysis, going beyond requirements gathering to bring clarity to complex challenges, ensure end-to-end traceability, and actively shape solutions together with business and IT.

You play a key role in translating business needs into high-quality, auditable requirements, performing impact and gap analyses across processes, systems and data, and supporting well-informed decision making.

Working in a cross-border setup with colleagues in the Netherlands and Germany, you collaborate closely with stakeholders, IT and external partners to align on scope and solutions, contribute to solution design and ensure smooth delivery by maintaining alignment between requirements, testing and implementation. As a senior in the team, you coach less experienced Business Analysts and actively raise the bar for quality and impact across the team.

Do you like to be in close cooperation with the business, suppliers and other stakeholders? Would you like to carry out impact assessments and perform process analyses to define and deliver solutions? Do read further!

A day in the life of a Senior Business Analyst Savings

After your morning coffee you sit with the team and discuss latest progress on the ongoing activities, exchanging insights and challenges. You facilitate a workshop with key stakeholders where you identify their needs and translate them into requirements.

You grab lunch with a group of colleagues from another team, where you learn about the latest developments from another product that may affect the way our processes and systems are used as well as their performance – something to bear in mind and discuss with the key stakeholders?

After lunch you get in touch with a colleague from the Legal and Compliance department you work with regularly on project governance, facing the challenge of integrating Compliancy requirements with the specifics of the local business. You then integrate the outcome in the solution document and analyse the impact and address this with relevant stakeholders.

Which team will you be joining?

As part of the Savings & Loans Lab, the Feature Team Savings NL ensures end-to-end change delivery within the Dutch Savings domain. We work according to our Lloyds Bank change process and adopt this to our team’s process, applying a phased and controlled roll-out across our organisation. We do this by:

  • Carrying out assessments to facilitate the development and validate solutions
