At Lloyds Bank, we're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager Mortgages who combines deep mortgage market expertise with strong commercial insight and a customer-focused mindset.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the performance, competitiveness and sustainable growth of our Dutch mortgage proposition. You will translate market trends, customer needs and portfolio insights into product improvements, pricing recommendations and strategic initiatives that strengthen our position in the market while delivering great customer outcomes. First-line risk ownership, disciplined product governance and ECB readiness are important elements of the role, supporting well-evidenced product decisions, clear controls and effective escalation.
Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Risk, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our mortgage business.
Which team will you be joining?
You'll join a highly engaged and collaborative Product Management team of five professionals covering mortgages and savings, with this role focused on the Lloyds Bank mortgage proposition. Together, the mortgage product team is responsible for managing and developing the proposition, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening customer outcomes and supporting well-controlled portfolio growth. The team works closely with stakeholders across the bank and plays a central role in shaping the future direction of our mortgage business.
A day in the life of a Senior Product Manager
You'll join a highly engaged and collaborative Product Management team of five professionals covering mortgages and savings, with this role focused on the Lloyds Bank mortgage proposition. Together, the mortgage product team is responsible for managing and developing the proposition, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening customer outcomes and supporting well-controlled portfolio growth. The team works closely with stakeholders across the bank and plays a central role in shaping the future direction of our mortgage business.
What You’ll Do
Product Management & Strategy

Develop and enhance our mortgage proposition to strengthen commercial performance and customer relevance.

Translate strategic business objectives into actionable product plans and initiatives.

Monitor developments in the Dutch mortgage market, customer behaviour and intermediary channels.

Identify opportunities to improve product features, customer journeys and market positioning.
Commercial & Portfolio Management

Analyse portfolio performance, pricing competitiveness and key commercial KPIs.

Use data, market intelligence and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and commercial risks.

Prepare clear recommendations that balance growth, profitability, customer outcomes and risk appetite.

Support effective portfolio steering across new business volumes, margin development, portfolio mix and pricing competitiveness.
Innovation & Growth

Drive innovation across digital journeys, sustainability propositions and service improvements.

Transform emerging trends and customer needs into new product concepts and business opportunities.

Support pilots and proof-of-concepts that deliver measurable customer and commercial value.
Governance & Risk
-
Take ownership of first-line product governance and risk activities for assigned products.

Ensure product decisions are well-controlled, documented and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Maintain clear evidence, controls and documentation to support auditability, supervisory readiness and effective product governance.

Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations to maintain strong governance standards.
Stakeholder Management

Build trusted relationships across the organisation.

Influence decision-making through data, clear communication and commercially focused recommendations.

Drive product initiatives from concept through to implementation.

What You'll Bring
Skills and Experience

10+ years of product management experience within mortgages.

Extensive knowledge of the Dutch mortgage market.

Strong commercial acumen and experience balancing growth, profitability and customer outcomes.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.

Strong product ownership, governance discipline and experience operating in a first-line risk environment.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement.
